Contest on Eseka stele sketch launched

Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, Cameroon’s Minister of Arts and Culture, has launched a competition for the conception of a commemorative Stele sketch at Eseka.

According to a release signed by Minister Narcissse Mouelle, the sketch is aimed at commemorating the 21 October Eseka train accident which claimed the lives of many Cameroonians. The sketch is expected to include a layout of the entire monument site at Eseka

Going by the release, the competition is open to all Cameroonians of both sexes living within or out of the country and has no age limitations.

The release equally states that the work can be presented in any of the two official languages; English or French.

Submissions which began on June 20 will end on July on 28 2017. Interest persons are implored to obtain registration forms and additional information on the contest from the regional and divisional delegations of the Ministry of Arts and Culture or download online at
