With over 72 hours before the polls open for the senatorial elections, councillors are making last minute preparations to woo the electorate.
In Buea, the CPDM senatorial aspirants were at the council where they met with councillors to convince them on the need to vote the CPDM list for a second mandate running.
They were accompanied by executives of the CPDM Fako III Section as they made a stop on yesterday at the Buea Council.
However, not all the Senatorial aspirants were present on this trip raising questions over disatisfactions within the CPDM camp in the South West Region.
Reports of a division in the camp have been rife after about four lists emerged during the during consultations but almost all the senators of the last mandate were retained nfor the South West region.
Conspicously absent from the meeting was Senator Charles Mbella Moki was has not seen eyeball to eyeball with the with successor at the council Ekema Patrick Esunge.
Councillors in the Fako Division will vote on in Limbe on Sunday to decide their senators for the next five years.
