Elite I: Dragon thrash Yafoot four nil in local derby

Dragon of Yaounde have eased their relegation fears after thrashing local rivals Yaounde II FC by four goals to zero on Sunday at the Annexe of the Yaounde Omnisports stadium.

The win sees Dragon move two points aay from the drop zone while Yafoot  are condemned to play in the Elite II next year with fifteen points separating them from Dragon.

Dragon raced into the lead through Edoa Serge at the 32’minute before Franck Mebenga added a second just before half time.

Dragon’s domination continued into the second half with Junior Rostand Mbai adding a second goal before substitute Alexandre Soppo rounded off scoring.
