Flames to clash with Madagascar in Chan qualifiers

Malawi national football team, Flames, will clash with Madagascar in the Champion African Nations (Chan) first-leg in Antananarivo on Saturday, April 22.According to the football association of Malawi (FAM) vice president and leader of the delegation, James Mwenda, the team arrived safely in Madagascar after a stop-over in Kenya.

“The players are fit and injury free, following a friendly-match they had with Harambe Stars. All is well, and they are ready to face the hosts”.

Mwenda assured the football fans to expect good results from the team under the new coach, Ronny van Geneuguden.

The return-leg of the match was scheduled for April 26, at Bingu Stadium in the capital Lilongwe.
