Ivorian Hyjazy Group to inject CFA14.3bn in Burkina Faso

The family-owned Hyjazy Group will invest 14.3 billion CFA francs for the construction of a new shopping center in Ouagadougou, APA learned from the Ministry of Trade on Sunday.Specializing in the distribution of food products, the Group has shopping centers in Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea.

The shopping center to be erected in the Commercial and Administrative Activity Zone (ZACA) in the center of the Burkinabe capital will be built on an area of 20,000 square meters with shops, restaurants, cinema, entertainment venues, shopping, promenade, terraces, halls and games, among others.

The center’s capacity will be 5,000 people and it will create 500 direct jobs and at least 2,000 indirect jobs.
