John Elufa Manga Williams was on Wednesday July 11 designated as the new Paramount Chief of Limbe, thirteen years after the former passed away.

John Elufa Manga Williams was unanimously voted by all the king makersto succeed  Chief Ferguson Bila Manga Williams who passed away in 2005.

He was voted unopposed after his main challenger David Nanjia Carr was sentenced to 17 months in prison by the Limbe Court of First Instance.

The succession of Chief Ferguson Bila Manga Williams has proved difficult for the past years after several families filed applications at the SDO’s office to claim succession to the vacant seat.
