Meet Cameroon’s Lieutenant Mboum Edinguele, EMIA’s best graduating officer

Some 174 cadet officers Friday January 18, 2019, graduated from the combined Services Military Academy (EMIA), in a ceremony presided over by the Head of State, Paul Biya.

Among the officers is 29 year old lieutenant Mboum Edinguele Davy, who emerged overall best graduating officer,

Going by new reports, the Lieutenant’s bravery, sense of discipline, devotion and above all intelligence and team spirit earned him the merit of the overall best, and lone officer to receive epaulets from the Head of State upon graduation.

The 29 year old lieutenant has been deployed to the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR) is the pride of the Unity and Diversity batch of the institution. He was born in Yabassi in the Littoral region of Cameroon. Before joining the army he was a fifth year student at the University of Yaounde 1. The son of a retired medical doctor had never failed any class since he started school, reports hold.
