Cameroon: 43 prison medical staff in West region trained on ways to better fight COVID-19

A three-day training workshop on ways to better fight the Coronavirus pandemic in prisons in the West region of Cameroon Cameroon ends this Friday.
The worshop organised by the World Health Organization in collaboration with the Ministrie of Justice and Public health concerns some forty-three staff from fourteen prisons in that region.
The aim of the workshop is to enable the medical personnel better address the covid-19 pandemic in their different places of service.
It comes months after suspected COVID-19 cases and even deaths were reported at the Kondengui prison in Yaounde.
