Forest guards clash with poachers in Cameroon’s Dja reserve

Reports say eco-guards of the ministry of forestry and wildlife have, within this month, clashed several times with poachers in the Dja reserve, East region. French-language daily tabloid, Le Quotidien de L’economie reported today that the armed poachers overpowered the forest guards. They were forced to run to the Abong Mbang gendermarie brigade for help.
