Police Officer killed in Fundong

Mbock Dominique Fabrice, a police officer of the special police unit GSO was shot in the head and killed on Satrday night as his team was on patrol in Fundong in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Several other  police officers were injured in the ensuing shootout before the armed men later took to their heels as violence continues to gain ground in that part of the country.

A police officer, Patrice Dinguegue is still in custody since he was kidnapped on June 6 by armed fighters in Fundong, Boyo Division of the North West Region.

In Batibo, two persons, a man and a woman were blinfolded, shot and killed but it is not known who who were behind the killings.
