Head teacher slaughtered by suspected separatists in Etam

The lifeless body of the head teacher of Government Primary School Etam, a locality in Tombel sub division in the South West region of Cameroon, local reports say.

Ejole Patrick was discovered dead in a bush with his skull burnt as well as others,family sources confirmed on Tuesday.

The head teacher was heading for a meeting to Ebonji, still in the Tombel sub-division when he was draged off from his motorcycle by armed men who slaughtered his head off, sources say.

According to local sources, the head teacher was a target of separatists fighters who tagged him a « traitor » to their cause and had promised hell on him.

Ejole is said to have angered sympathizers of the separatist movement by granting a defiant radio interview after his school was burnt down. He has since been a target of the alleged separatist fighters.

Ejole Patrick who was also head teacher of GS  KumbaMbeng leaves behind a wife and six children to mourn him.
