Cameroon international midfielder Sebastian Siani has joined left Belgian side Antwerp for the United Arab Emirates where he has signed with Al Jazira, a club based in Abu Dhabi.
He leaves Belgium just six months after joining Antwerp in January from KV Ostende for a deal that was supposed to run until 2020.
“Al Jazira Football has completed today the signing of Cameroonian midfielder Sebastien Siani, a former Anderlecht and Antwerp player, and African Champion 2017,” Al Jazira club said in a statement0.
“He will join the first team in the first days of preseason. Siani has successfully passed all the medical exams and will be present with the professional group at the beginning of the season,” the club added.
The 31-year old will be experiencing a new adventure in the gulf after spending over a decade in Belgium where he played several clubs including Anderlecht (2005-2011), Zulte Waregem (2007), Union (2007-2008), Saint-Trond (2008-2010) , FC Brussels (2011-2013), KV Ostende (2013-2018) and Antwerp (2018).
