Swaziland: Four of five S/African stray lions captured

Safety is slowly being restored in Swaziland as four of the five lions that strayed into country from South Africa early this week have been caught and only one is still on the loose, APA learns here on Wednesday. The lions escaped from Kruger National Park, sending fears to residents around Mananga, an area next to the border line separating Swaziland and South Africa.

A South African newspaper, The Citizen, reported that a helicopter was being used in the attempt to capture the one lion that is still on the run.

The two males and three female lions were tracked down a few hours after they escaped and at some point they were spotted feasting on a cow.

Swazi police said they were assisting park officials in their search for the remaining lion.
