Swaziland: Rotary club funds dental treatment for 3,000 pupils

The Mbabane Rotary Club will spend $169 600 on dental treatment for 3, 000 pupils in Swaziland, APA learnt on Monday.The club launched the Dental Outreach Programme two years ago where they take pupils to dentists for surgeries and procedures and also provide them with dental health material like toothbrushes.

Dr Musa Mthethwa who is a dentist and Programme Coordinator said the aim was to ensure that each child in primary school owned a basic toothbrush in order to keep their teeth clean.

The dentist invited volunteers to participate in the programme that is scheduled to commence in July and will last for ten days.
