Swaziland: Swallows beat S/Africa’s Platinum Stars in 6-goal thriller

South Africa’s Platinum Stars will return home dejected after a 4-2 loss to Swaziland’s Mbabane Swallows in a CAF Confederation Cup Group B match played at the Somhlolo National Stadium on Tuesday.Swallows took the lead with two quick-fire goals courtesy of Sabelo “Sikhali” Ndzinisa within the first 20 minutes.

This confirmed the fear Platinum Stars Coach Cavin Johnson had expressed when his team arrived on Sunday.

The visitors managed to reduce the deficit just before half-time through a penalty.

However in the second half Swallows’s Ndzinisa proved the tormentor of the visitors when he scored two more goals, the third goal coming in the 67th minute and the fourth 23 minutes from time.
