The United State’s Assistant Secretary for African Affairs Tibor Nagy has expressed delight at United Nations Security Council meeting on Cameroon held on Monday.
The United Nations Security Council held and Aria Formula meeting on the humanitarian situation in Cameroon where the international community was urged to continue implementing a coordinated and robust humanitarian response to the crisis in Cameroon.
So glad Monday's UNSC Arria-Formula Meeting on the humanitarian crisis in #Cameroon occurred, giving voice to all people of Cameroon before the international community. We urge all parties to end violence and engage in broad-based inclusive dialogue without preconditions. https://t.co/j8JH1jjQkD

Joining his voice to the resolutions of the meeting, Tibor Nagy called on both parties to end the violence and engage in broad based dialogue without preconditions.
His call fell in line with remarks from the meeting as all parties to the conflict were called to respect international humanitarian law, allow aid workers to safely access people in need, and cease attacks against aid facilities, hospitals and medical professionals.
The Aria Formula meeting also called on all the parties to the conflict to ensure that all the children of Cameroon are able to attend school safely.
